Wool felt trinket boxes 羊毛小飾盒

 

 Wool felt trinket boxes of two beating hearts and enclaved shell.

 

Both made inspired by the sea.......

 

My studio neighbor sweetie gave me a pretty shell.  It's nice to make something with it.  I used enclosed resist,  little yarn and mulberry silk to make the look of sky, wave & water.  

 

The one of red hearts made of prefelt shapes,  enclosed resist with yarns on top for the lid and a little white mulberry silk on the body for sheen effect

 

After felted and shaped it round, embellished beads as pearl尸 !!

 

Both are made in one piece.  I just cut around the top to make a lid.

 

Trinket boxes for the little something

 

 

Put the LED lamp to make it a .........

 glowing box for the dressing table .......

 

or a glowing box for table for two on the Valentine's night......  with two beating hearts......

 

May be a  keepsake after a beach hunt with the lover.....

 

keep a  treasury of memory........

This year's Valentine's Day coincide with Chinese Lantern Festival (Chinese Lovers' Day).

Wish all lovers a romantic day or whoever enjoys being alone.

 

I thank for the ones I love, who give me lots of space, who set me free....... Valentine's Day is not the only day of love.......my family.
