My little journal is born 我的 "出色" 小本子

My eco leave prints little journal is born.

這手作小本子, 顏色不什豐富, 但仍 "出色", 愛手作, 愛作一些盡可以親手完成的製作.

 Born with my handmade ceramic button, wrapped with wool felt cover.

這 96頁的小本子是植物印染在舊信封紙上, 繫以羊毛書皮及手做的陶瓷釦子. 

 Most leaves were picked near my office but the front page rose leaf and eucalyptus cinerea were from florist.

 Intended to have a bit black outlines of leaves, I put something of iron when making it.

 A wool felt cover with leaves and string marks. 

 Steps of making below :

 I cut the abandoned letter envelopes, dipped in diluted vinegar, laid the leaves on top,  sandwiched with a scrap of cotton already got some iron rust.  Clipped the batch of papers and steamed for an hour and left overnight.  Open it and let flat dry.

 Binded it with signature packs.

 Wool felted a flat sheet for the cover and bundle steamed with leaves.

 Each page with different leaves marks.

 A little journal of 96 pages with a little color.  More than enough.

 A new page with rose print. 

With the fragrance of rose tea, I'll soon start a new chapter.

 Steps of life will be slooooooow.

 Pages are not all splendid, rooms for writing.

My little journal -  a touch of handmade, a capture of leaves from my office.
