 Flapping in the air.......... handmade art book of multi-media.......

 Cover of eco printed euc leaves and sparkling........... hmmmmmm, aroma of nature.....

 With the abandoned paper index dividers in hand, I printed some of them with leaves collected in my area.  My last post of making.

Made it coptic binded with 7 signatures, in between with printed papers and printed silk fabrics

Grasped the remnant silk printed with assorted euc, I made a nuno felted cover with 3D texture.

Finished binding  with sparkling glass beads and enclosed with ceramic buttons

  

Each signature inserted with natural paper prints and fabric prints ......

 

made it an art book of more than 110 pages for writing and aroma of nature.

Night owl special wishes to friends in the States 夜貓子做貓頭鷹

So good or so bad that I still can't adjust my body clock. Still jet lag but I'm productive. The night owl me yesternight couldn't sleep made a need felt owl. When I was making it I thought of Laurie of Canada. She paints amazing and adorable owls. This one added to the stuff to my friend Melinda.  I'm currently stay in her house. She got lots of wool so I can kill my night time. She's supposed to join with me to the Monterey workshops tomorrow but pity that she got a bad flu for weeks and too weak to attend. I will take her place for the one day workshop before mine starting the day after. Melinda is so thoughtful and very nice to me. I owe her hospitality. Do wish she will be in a fit form soon. Then Sat we will meet again and explore the felt technique. Know that flu is severe in the States. Wish all well and those sick get well soon.
